NYCdog:
New York Council of Dog Owner Groups

NYCdog is an umbrella organization--a group of groups--that represents most of the official dog parks and Off-leash Hours park areas in New York City.

NYCdog (pronounced "nice dog") was founded in 1999 to unite dog owners and dog owner groups throughout New York City and now includes 35 groups in all five boroughs representing over 30,000 dog owners, and growing.

We are dedicated to improving our communities by promoting the establishment and maintenance of humane off-leash recreation opportunities, responsible dog ownership and respectful park stewardship.
